Shark, Kayak and one man
Sitting in a 3.8-metre sea kayak and watching a four-metre great white approach you is a fairly tense experience
This is a real photograph taken by Thomas P. Peschak in south-western South Africa. It’s a part of a article about great white sharks. You can read the whole article at White Shark Trust’s website. Visit White Shark Trust for lots of more information and photos of great white sharks.
You can buy this photo as a poster from Africa Geographic’s site.

What happened to the guy in the 3.8 meter boat? Did he get eaten?

That picture is scanned from a magazine that’s why there is a line in a middle and the sides are different colors. It isn’t fake you can read the whole article here http://www.whitesharktrust.org/pages/mediaarticle/media25.html

Wow, you guys are idiots.
Why does it NEED to be a fake?

Dude… SO fake look closely the middle of the picture has a seam… Plus who in teh hell would turn a round and look at it dude i would be paddleing my ass off Lol

This picture is not a fake. The line in the middle is because this picture was pulled from a magazine spread. there are many more places on the web that this picture doesnt have the seam in it.

Ive seen ths amazing snap in the magazine, the ‘seam’ is obvious due to the fact that its a scan..awesme pic!

For those of you who think its fake, its obvious you never used a scanner in your life.

Looks more like a tiger shark than a white shark judging by the tail

this ohto is real but if you look up shark swimming in street in portorico they took this photo and zoomed in then added a different backround and a car and poof a completely new and fake picture.

Originally we thought this was photo-shopped because of the line from the scan and the definite fake shark swimming around Manhattan during Cyclone Irene.
It’s nice to get to the original story and see that not everything on the internet is a fake, fraud or a scam. We have published accordingly.
